A Promise of Restoration! Jeremiah 33

Prayer is the Key to Restoration!

This is what Jeremiah heard from the Lord: Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know!"

The Lord tells us in vs. 9: "Then this city will bring me renown, joy praise, and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it!"

Prayer: It is such a comfort to know that God already has plans made for the village of San Francisco! The key to knowing His plans is as simple as prayer! When we pray, God will reveal his wondourous plans of these great and unsearchable things! We can't do it on our own!

Restoration: It brings me such joy to know that God will bring health and healing to this village that we love so deeply! He will give them unspeakable joy, abundant peace, and security!

Mission History

12 years ago, God called the family of Sunshine Community Church to partner with John and Shirley Wind, our CRWM missionaries in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. This original call was for a Surgical team and a Children’s Ministry team.

In the past 11 years Sunshine has sent many different teams who have provided many different services and this ministry has grown tremendously! We have been truly blessed! The most rewarding blessing is that we have had the honor to witness firsthand the transformation in the lives of men, women, children, and whole families, as they accept the hope of Jesus for eternity!

We are so thrilled to now support and work directly with local Mayan Missionaries, Manuel and Nancy Pamplona and their family. Their family both live and serve in the village. Together they minister and disciple their church family as well as share the gospel and the love of Christ with the people of the village.

We are so excited that God is spreading His passion for the Yucatan to other churches! In March of 2014 our team consisted of members from 3 different churches and the passion to serve in the village grew! This current year we are thrilled to be opening new doors for ministry as we partner with Christian Reformed World Missions. God is so Great!
